Mr. Jeff Mayo, Principal

Jeff Mayo has been a passionate educator for 16 years, striving to focus on academic improvement, strategic reform and student achievement with each and every student. Mr. Mayo is entering his 17th year in education, with 11 years in the School Administration role. He served as a Resource Teacher with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, K-8 Educator/Dean of Students in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Assistant Principal at West Caldwell HS, School Director for New Dimensions Charter School, Assistant Principal and Alternative Coordinator for Alexander County Schools, and most recently the Gateway School Principal and Principal of the Year for Caldwell County Schools. 

Mr. Mayo is very excited about the upcoming 2023-24 Academic Year and is honored to be the Principal at Hudson Middle School. He looks forward to continuing the HMS history of excellence and being a part of the Hudson Middle School community.
