Hudson Middle

Race Description:

The Zombie Race is a 1.8 mile course that includes a foam cannon, color run powder, and zombies!

• Each participant will have flags like flag football. Zombies will surprise and chase runners throughout the course, and try to take their flags. If you finish with at least one flag, your bib will be marked as “Survivor.” If the zombies get your flags, your bib will be marked as “Zombie Got Me.” Run fast!
• Rain or Shine event. Bring a towel for the ride home.
• The race is not timed. The first person across the line for each wave wins that wave. Success is measured in fun! … and if you survive the zombies.

• Zombie Race Waves:
  • 11:00 will be our Little Zombie Fun Run (ages 3-8) for smaller children, which will be less scary and shorter. $5 per child. No flags. Parents/Guardians who assist our little zombies are FREE.
  • 11:30 will be the first wave of our “Escape from the Infected” Zombie Run (ages 9+). Cost is $10.
  • 12:30 will be a second wave. Cost is $10.
• Payment: Participants can pay on the day of the race, cash only. OR you can pay ONLINE here.
• Lake Hickory Haunts is partnering with Hudson Middle School to provide zombies.
• Zombie Safety: 
  • At any time, if someone feels uncomfortable or scared during the Zombie Run the Zombies will not bother you if you put your hands straight out and walk like a Zombie (just like in the movies) as this will be the CODE for all Volunteer Zombies not to come near you.
  • No outside food or beverages allowed.
• Parking is free.

The Zombie Run will be a feature of the Hudson Middle School Fall Festival from 11am - 2pm. We invite you to come for the race, and stay for the Food Trucks, Craft Vendors, Face Painting (especially for zombies), Kids Games, Dunk Tank, and a live DJ that will be on campus.
